Keyboard shortcuts

• ⌘⇧L (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+T (Win/Linux) — open the Tabby popup
• ⌘⇧Y / Ctrl+Shift+Y — save the current window
• ⌘⇧E / Ctrl+Shift+E — open the full dashboard

Where are my sessions stored?

In your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). They never leave your device. Uninstalling Tabby will permanently delete them, so use Export in the dashboard before uninstalling if you want a backup.

How do I back up my sessions?

Open the dashboard (⌘⇧E), click Export. You'll get a single JSON file with every session, the closed-window archive, and your settings.

I closed a window by accident — can I get it back?

Yes. If you had the Archive closed windows setting on (default), open the dashboard → Closed windows tab → click Restore on the entry.

How do I find duplicate tabs?

Open the dashboard → Open tabs → click Find duplicates. Click Close N duplicates on each group to keep one and close the rest.
